2017 - What A Year!

Friday 26th January 2018

It’s quite unbelievable that we’re in 2018 already. It’s been a fantastic year here at team A-list - our busiest yet. We’re lucky to have been the Hampshire wedding band of choice for so many amazing couples across the county, and very much beyond.

The year started with the launch of our new promotional material, which we were extremely proud of; it really does highlight how much we’ve evolved as a band since our first gig back in 2011 with Tailored Entertainment.

We take great pride in constantly fine-tuning our performance so that there’s never any filler, and that all your guests will be catered for; whether that’s our classic Rock ’n Roll medley, or our newest 20-minute 00’s Indie/Rock medley featuring all the biggest tunes of the decade, from the Killers, to Kaiser Chiefs and many more.

So what have some of the highlights been this year for us, you ask? (You did ask, right?).

As well as performing at all our favourite Hampshire wedding venues such as Lainston House, Clock Barn, Tithe Barn and Farbridge, we’ve also travelled further afield. Our ‘longest drive’ award goes to the Point Golf Club in Polzeath, with incredible views of the Atlantic Coast. An honourable award goes to a venue called Midtrees in Somerset, where we also performed a daytime acoustic set, and the guests partied late in to the night with a game of water polo as the band packed up!

The ‘most unique’ venue award goes to the Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford. I’ll let a photo of it do the rest of the talking (you may have seen it before as the Hogwarts Library in the Harry Potter movies!).

We’ve treated ourselvesl to a little break following the Christmas madness, before it all kicks off again in 2018. Bookings are coming in thick and fast, so please don’t delay in enquiring with Tailored Entertainment - we know you won’t be disappointed. Please make sure to head over to our Twitter page to see some action shots of what we’ve been up to this year. One New Years Resolution will definitely be to make sure we get a snap of every gig we do!
